~ Job applications ~

Over the past few months leading up to finishing i've applied for a large range of jobs mostly titled 'junior graphic designer' as this is the path I want to go down.

I've decided to record an example of a typical job application here.

The job I will be applying for is one that doesn't actually currently have a vacancy - the job being a junior designer for Elmwood Leeds - but they are looking for interns and freelancers - so theres potential to intern then be hired on a more permanent basis.

Elmwood gives clear instructions of what they want to receive within an application which makes things easy in comparison to many who are very non-specific.

Our Leeds studio offers internships throughout the year for university or college students who have recently finished, or are in their last year of studies. Placements for promising designers and writers can be anywhere from a week to a month. And yes, we do pay.

STEP ONE

is to get your portfolio in shape. Pick the work you’re really proud of and that reflects your personality, and think about how you can stand out from everyone else who applies – remember, we get a fair few requests.

STEP TWO

is sending us a PDF of your work along with your CV and a covering letter. Please don’t just send us a link to your personal website. We need to see everything in front of us. If you have won any awards, let us know.

Remember to include the dates you are available in your application, ideally giving us a range of dates. Finally, send your email to placementsleeds@elmwood.com

STEP THREE

is the boring bit: waiting. We get an awful lot of applications, so please be patient. If we like what we see, we’ll find you. If you don’t hear from us, don’t lose heart, and try again in the future.

Please note that we currently only consider placements for people who have finished or are in the last year of their studies at university or college, and who have attended an appropriate course in design or writing. Don’t worry if you’re a bit young yet or haven’t finished your studies – we’ll be around for a while.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

We are committed to a policy of treating all our employees and job applicants equally. In fact, we believe that recruiting and developing a diverse workforce is essential to our success. So, we welcome applications from people whatever their age, sexual orientation, race, colour, religion, disability, nationality, ethnic origin, political belief, trans-gender status, sex or marital status.

In many of the previous applications I have been able to send off my creative CV and a link to my Instagram and Website as my portfolio. But this studio more specifically asks for a PDF so they can get a proper insight into what your about. This is when my PDF/Print template previously designed comes in handy. I can now choose my current few favourite pieces of work to send to them - alongside a cover letter.

It did however mean editing my portfolio (already) as i've produced and finished so many new projects recently that can replace older ones.

This is my edited pdf portfolio ready to send off to Elmwood.
For future job applications and interviews I will be printing and potentially binding this - I created an Issuu version to show what this will look like - https://issuu.com/izzieglazzarddesign/docs/portfolio_for_issuuu - I have also embedded this into my website under the links panel incase potential employers are looking - https://izzieglazzard.com/links/

The next step for this particular application is to create a covering letter. Things to include
- My favourite brief they have done
- My manifesto
- Previous experiance
- Skills

Cover letter
Hi Elmwood guys!

I am really excited to be applying to work with you guys as i've heard nothing but positivity surrounding the name. I hear you are willing and readily pushing boundaries for design and thats what i'm all about. I am looking to possibly apply for an internship with you some time between May 16th and June 29th - and going forward a more permanent position as either a junior designer or freelancer.

Your branding briefs appeal to me massively particularly the logo design for 22 street lane nursery, creating intelligent design that captures imagination is something I find really appealing. Once again your branding for Craft stood out to me; as a grad student i've had a lot of contact with Craft and I actually ran upon your studio initially when trying to find out who designed their branding - so kudos.

I feel that as a designer I am not just your bog standard rule follower - I push boundaries, illustrate my way throughout life and add colour to all that I do. I have a simple 6 step manifesto that I like to follow throughout all aspects of my life and work.
1 - Do the best work you can, for the best people you know.
2 - Less shirt and tie, more tie dye.
3 - Talk to your clients, your friends, the old lady next door and even your favourite cactus.
4 - Never let anyone under-value what you do.
5 - Be colourful in all that you do - when life makes you blue, mix it with red to make purple.
6 - Be brave - nobody ever gets remembered for following the crowd.

I am full of energy and looking to you to give me a chance at experiencing how I can impact on a studio. I am skilled in multimedia areas of creativity as I feel my portfolio shows well. I do animate, paint, design, illustrate (the possibilities are endless) - id love to invite you to look at my online portfolio - www.izzieglazzard.com - for all my projects and animated works and also my Instagram - @izzieglazzard for a view of the more work in progress briefs I have going on currently.

Really hope you enjoy my work and vibe and look to hear back from you soon,
Regards Izzie

So I sent off my application to both the placement and freelance team at Elmwood and look forward to hearing back hopefully soon.

This experiance of documenting an application has helped me massively as i've created a framework for future applications that works really well.

~ Contacting Music Manchester ~

Music agency Manchester stood out to me for many reasons.

1 - Manifesto

Their manifesto expresses their frustration with the status quo - something that really worries me about going into employment after graduation - I really dont want to slip into being in a studio that wants to mould me into them and what they think design 'should' look like rather than pushing boundaries. Music clearly does things differently and I admire that massively.

2 - Known

Theres a lot of them, it means the opportunity for combinations of different perspectives and interpretations of briefs is endless - it means they produce the best and most considered work and they are really well known and highly regarded throughout the world for their design work. They would be a brilliant name to have on my CV and just a perfect experiance to learn from.

3 - Work

Their work is really professional well known for good reason, they work with huge clients and its seen by people worldwide. However they define themselves as an advertising and marketing creative agency rather than a design agency; which means they do a lot of reserved feeling corporate work - I actually feel my flair and bravery in method would actually add something new to their practice that it could be missing.

Leading on - this is the manuscript of my contact with Music throughout this year. Their replies in orange.

Hi there,

I am interested in being part of/knowing more about your internship scheme. My website is izzieglazzard.com if you want to check out some of my work prior to replying to me.

Thanks, Izzie

Hi Izzie,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Our internships at Music usually last 4 weeks, with travel and food expenses being paid for (£150/week). During an internship here you’d gain experience working with a range of clients, and on a range of briefs. Our working day is 9.00 – 17.30.

We usually ask for a pdf portfolio to look through initially, then based on the strength of the work and whether we feel it’s the right fit for Music we’d get you in for a chat (so that we can meet you and talk through your portfolio in a bit more depth).

We are currently booked up for the next few months with interns, but are always keen to get prospective interns on our radar for when our next opportunity comes up. So if you’re still interested in pursuing an internship with us, could you send a pdf over for us to review?

Hope I’ve answered any queries, but let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to know.

Thanks,
Lottie

Hi there, all sounds perfect to me. The best time for me to intern would possibly be in the next few months anyway once uni has properly finished up. I will attach a PDF CV with this email but also advise you check out my website as it has all my work with full descriptions and animations etc. - izzieglazzard.com

Thanks Izzie

Hi Izzie,

Thanks for sending your portfolio over and I’m very sorry for the late reply — we’re mad busy here at the moment!

We’re currently booked up for interns for the next couple of months but may be looking during summer — which might fit with your schedule? Either way, we’d love to get you in for a chat to talk through your work in more depth.

Would you be free one evening in the week commencing 24th at around half 5?

Let me know!

Thanks,
Lottie

Hi Lottie,

No worries. I'd love to come in for a chat. I currently have a load of hand ins at uni but I am actually in Manchester on the 3rd of May for a zine launch that i'm part of. Don't suppose we could do the 2nd of May could we?

Thanks Izzie

Hi Izzie,

The 2nd of May would be perfect. Is half 5 okay for you?

Thanks,
Lottie

Hi Lottie,

Half 5 is perfect for me, look forward to it. What in particular should I bring with me?

Thanks Izzie

If you just bring along your portfolio and any physical bits of work you want to show us that would be great.

It’s just a chance for us to meet you and chat through your portfolio with you. Nothing too formal!

Looking forward to meeting you.

Thanks,

This contact with Music has worked out perfectly as they clearly enjoyed my portfolio and saw something that stood out to them as potential. I look forward to meeting with them and interning with them over summer.

~ Questions for Alphabet ~

Would you say it's possible for young designers to go it along after graduation? Or is experiance necessary?

What advice would you give to a fresh graduate you if you could go back now?

After seeing my portfolio - what advice would you give me in terms of moving forward?

How are Manchester and Leeds for creativity? Where do you prefer?

How do you kick back and relax when deadlines are looming and workload is high?

Would you say research is more or less important to creating work after university?

Whats your personal favourite brief Alphabet has done so far?

Thanks for your help guys, really hope that if you have space/time for an intern over summer you wont hesitate to get in touch and keep checking on my website - izzieglazzard.com as things get updated regularly.

Thanks Izzie

~ Presentation script ~

Slide 1 - Hello! - This is my final personal logo as of the end of last year. Its stayed the same this year as my portfolio has expanded greatly and I feel this is what really represents me as a designer. The logo as just been functioning as a memorable add on at the ends of emails.

Slide 2 - This year however I have expanded the idea of having my logo and other online promotion animated to show new skills learnt in this field - I used the basic logo and animated it to include my website.

Slide 3 - I have been talking with the creative recruitment agency Craft throughout this year. Initially just going through my online presence as a designer and the tools I need in order to get a job after I graduate. The first piece of advice I was given was to rely less on Behance as although its a great tool its not the best for getting an actual job.

Slide 4 - The first thing I did was to create a CV - simple but nicely designed. This is going to be a really importance template I can now use and edit according to changes in employment.

Slide 5 - I was also critted on using my Instagram account for both personal things and work purposes. So I made the decision to make my personal account private and create a new one just for design work - this is brilliant as i've already been offered a live collaboration opportunity/zine feature because of it.

Slide 6 - My next really important move was to create my very own website - this has acted as the portfolio I have been sending to studios when applying to intern and been a really good tool for me so far.

Slide 7 - I have also produced a template/pdf portfolio which gives a more in-depth look at my best briefs to send to clients. After graduation this will become my printed version of the portfolio - i've created something easily editable and adaptable that will work both digitally and in print.

Slide 8 - As part of my self promotion and as a way to introduce myself to both studios and potential clients - I created an 'introductory' illustration Hello. I created loads of screen prints of this to send out to studios and take with my as an example of work/gift in interviews. This has then gone on to be the image used on my business cards. It represents my style and interest in illustration and bright uses of colours really well so I think its much more effective than just using my logo alone on the cards. The cards are square format as this fits the artwork and also stands out among others - its also uv gloss printed for that added look of professionalism.

Slide 9 - One of my personal goals for the year was to learn how to animate which has been successful. I wanted all my outreach and engagement with studios to show that this is a skill I have that makes me stand out - I created this simple gif to use at the begging of emails to say hello and began contacting studios in Leeds and Manchester looking to intern.

Slide 10 - Eventually my efforts to get an internship payed off and I was offered a placement with a recruitment firm called DanTech Talent. They were looking for someone to work as the in-house designer and expand their current brand identity onto all relevant platforms. This was a massive learning curve for me as I was working alongside people who didn't understand creativity at all and just knew their field of business. I learnt a lot but didn't find the experiance enjoyable - not being in a 'creative' environment wasn't for me and it showed me that working in a design/creative studio would be much more my thing going forward.

Slide 11 - More positively my outreaches to studios has resulted in getting 2 internships for summer at Alphabet and Music in Manchester. There work is really up my street and I feel I will really enjoy working with them so this is something really positive thats come from this experiance. I have also applied for a job at Strawberry in Hull which is looking really promising; they are looking specifically to hire a graduate student and I have really close contacts with people already working there and creatives throughout the city that will make me a strong candidate.

Slide 12 - This year has been a real turning point for me as i've developed a way I feel confident in working and it's given my portfolio the edge it was needing. I'd spent a long time trying to force myself into following a certain 'style' of design trying to find my creative voice but when I just let go and interpreted briefs in a new way I found a whole new and really individual style of working. With a focus on the use of shapes in different ways and how colours can be really strong, emotive and really change your work. It's a new way of working that hopefully will stand out to particular studios who also work similarly.

Slide 13 - The DBA brief was a really great opportunity to put forward my new found confidence in my own work and ideas. Our concept was really well thought out and completely different to the other groups. Each design decision was informed really finely by the brief and it proved to be a winning formula as I feel the final outcome is great both visually appealing and smartly thought out. I had previously not massively enjoyed working in groups as often id end up unhappy with the final outcome - but this time I made 100% sure that my opinion was heard and nothing offensively bad was part of the final design. haha.

Slide 14 - The first exhibition I took part in this year was Ferens open exhibition in Hull; I actually submitted one of the screen prints that I produced as part of PPP! And whats cooler is the woman who bought the print later found my details via my website and bought two more for her hallway

Slide 15 - The second was part of the Nest launch and was in Colours May Vary.

Slide 16 - The third was for Jessy Lanza at Leeds Print festival - this has possibly been one of my favourite briefs of the year as ive always been completely in love with traditional print techniques so to be a part of the festival was great - I also really challenged my screen print skills by doing a 4 colour print ... probably wont be doing that again haha

Slide 17 - I am also being featured in a feminist zine put together by a student at Manchester - the launch is at Islington Mill in Salford - this was proof to me that my online presence is good as she found my work online and contacted me directly asking if I wanted to submit some work

Slide 18 - Last year I created a manifesto - looking back now I was trying to be overly 'professional' and just trying to tick boxes rather than being true to myself. I did however illustrate it which was a great idea. This year I have re-written my manifesto to represent who I really am as a designer and this time animated each one.

Slide 19 - 24 -These are my final manifesto rules...read rules

Slide 25 - Talk through the rough time plan and future goals

Slide 26 - My experiance at LCA has been transforming - I look back at my work from first year and the change is crazy - I hope to continue to change and improve as much as I go on into employment. I've met some amazing people and had great experiences.

~ Alphabet - contact/intern ~

This is the email manuscript of contact with Alphabet throughout the year. Their replies written in orange.

Hi there,

I am a graphic design student (3rd year Leeds college of Art). I am currently looking at internships to expand my understanding and experience with live briefs and the studio environment.

Your studio has definitely caught my eye; so just dropping in to say hello . I wondered if you offered an internship scheme and how I would apply to work as part of your team?

Thanks Izzie

Hi Izzie

Good to hear from you! Love the email. We do offer internships, we’re scheduling interns in for around new years time, if that works for you? We actually get quite a lot of interest in internships so usually we put a bit of time aside once or twice am month and look through portfolios and then get back in touch if we feel you’re a good fit.

Do you have a portfolio we can look at?

Thanks!
Abbas

Hey there, amazing to hear that you offer internships. I would appreciate the opportunity so much as I find your practice extremely inspiring; The Headrow House work was completely mesmerising. New year would be perfect for me, my dissertation hand in is the beginning of January so as you can imagine things are going to be pretty stressful up until then anyway. My online portfolio is simple and it holds a large selection of my design work (will be updated regularly) - http://izzieglazzard.tumblr.com/

Alongside this I have attached a PDF to this email showing some of my favourite recent briefs with more information. Really looking forward to hearing back from you, Thanks Izzie

Hello,

Just writing a follow up to make sure you received my portfolio examples regarding an internship and to wish you guys a happy 2017. The beginning of the year for me has already been exciting; with dissertation hand in complete and a new live brief beginning.

I'd like to invite you to see my latest (dissertation) practical work - https://www.behance.net/gallery/47309049/The-Pink-Manifesto

And hope to hear back from you soon, Izzie

Thanks for following up! How did your disso go? I remember doing mine not long ago, actually kind of enjoyed it in hindsight (I know.. wtf). How are you? Sorry for taking a while to email you back we’re like headless chickens pretty much every day.

Definitely interested in having you down, you’re a standout for sure. One thing to note is our full time studio is in Manchester at the moment! Let us know if that still makes it doable for you. I think it would be cool to see how the way you think translates to our studio environment. Out of curiosity how did you find out about us and what about us did you like that made you get in touch?

Speak soon!

Hi Abbas,

Strangely enough I actually enjoyed doing my dissertation a lot (what is with that). It's also a huge relief to be free of it now though, as since hand in i've started a new live brief for a lovely little vegetarian cafe and been offered the opportunity to help curate a set of exhibitions alongside The Gallery (Munro House); so things are most certainly looking positive.

Brilliant to hear you'd like to have me down! Manchester is definitely doable for me, no worries at all. It was initially your work for Headrow House that caught my attention; I did my research and found out that you guys had designed the light-boxes. Since then I made sure to follow what work you were doing regularly. Honestly it's appealing to me to see a studio that has some personality and vitality! It's quite sad to see the creative industries so saturated by studios ran by old men in suits more bothered about statistics than creativity and positive messages. Your work gives off a really good vibe and it's good to see the support of other local independent business also. If you want me to come into the studio to introduce myself or anything just let me know, hope to hear back soon,

Izzie

Ace! I like the way you think. Thanks for thinking were kinda cool too. What kind of stuff are you working on at the minute, can you lob some bits and bobs over? Curious to see

Best,
Abbas

Of course, seem to have to much going on at the moment.

Firstly i've been working on the brand identity for The Zoo (vegetarian cafe) in Hull; as Hull is the city of culture 2017 they're getting a re-vamp. I'm currently just in discussion with them about the logo and type initially (they of course feel the necessity of monkeys and tree dwellers is extremely necessary). But then moving on from that i'm hoping to design their menus and a social media promotional plan leading up to their grand re-opening. Looking to produce some film/animation based stuff which should be nice.

I've also been working on an entry for the Starpack briefs; they are looking for a concept packaging for a healthy fast food packaging solution. I've come up with some smart hexagonal idea that allows for different sizes in meals/snacks and will work alongside a coded system (kind of a revamp on the traditional Chinese takeout numbers system).

And then Co-curating a series of exhibitions within Leeds which is going to be a great opportunity as the curation/organisation side of things is all fairly new to me.

Thanks Izzie

Hey Abbas,
Hope your week has been good. Just letting you know the 'best' time for me to do an internship would be the 2 weeks commencing the 13th of Feb or alternatively the Easter holiday period.
Thanks, Izzie

Hi Izzie

Thanks!

We’ll keep it in mind. Sorry for the delayed reply, mental as usual over here! How’s things at LCA?

Abbas

Awesome thanks and really good, everyone's on super stress mode this week though as interim submission is on Wednesday! Izzie

Hi Abbas, you mentioned meeting in Leeds before, but I am actually in Manchester this Friday is there any chance you'd be free to meet up then?

Thanks Izzie

Hi Abbas

It's Easter holidays after this week (3 weeks off). I will be spending the most part of that in Manchester, just wondered if there was any chance in meeting or any internship opportunities within those weeks?

Izzie

Also check out my new website - izzieglazzard.
com

Hi Izzie

For sure! I’m just leaving the office now but I’ll bring your name up tomorrow with the rest of the studio, or just nudge me tomorrow incase I forget. Would be good to have you in. And again sorry if I’ve been slow with getting back!

Best,
Abbas

Hey Abbas

Sounds awesome to me, let me know what they say! This is me nudging you, look forward to hearing back.

Hi Izzie!

Wanna pop in Wednesday morning? Or whatever day and time works best for you? Morning time works best for us. We can do it from 10am onwards. We have the opportunity to have someone in over Easter time, we don’t have anything booked in

Thank you and if I don’t hear from you before, have a great weekend.

Best,
Abbas

Amazing! Wednesday sounds perfect to me, is there anything in particular I should bring with me?

Just bring a portfolio and yourself! Could be digital or print whatever you prefer

See you soon

Abbas

Hi Izzie

Just following up! Wanted to ask if popping in for around 10:30/11am works for you? And also what period your Easter break is? I’m completely out of sync with holidays after finishing uni. Just have no idea ha

Thanks and see you soon.

Best,
Abbas

Hi Abbas,

Sounds good to me. And easter has started this week and is for the next 3 weeks.

Cheers, Izzie

Hi Izzie

Ok perfect. Can we possibly move the meeting to this Friday if possible? Just had a look at our week and it may be better to have you in on Friday if that works for you? Or Thursday could work too, but I think Friday would be better for us.

Sorry for any inconvenience! Usually on Mondays we map out the week and Wednesday looks quite busy right now.

Hope that’s ok and look forward to catching up with you soon.

Best,
Abbas

Hi Abbas,

Of course, thats no problem with me. See you Friday, same time I presume

Hi Izzie

Hope you're well, sorry for the Late reply this weeks been so so busy. Hence I'm replying to you so late. I think we may have to reschedule the meeting if that's possible, today is going to be mega busy as well and we will be out of office a lot of it. I don't want to rush the meeting with you, and not give you the proper time.

Sorry again! I can only apologise, it's my fault I should have let you know sooner. I don't want to give you a day again, and it fall apart, so I'll give you a shout as soon as I can guarantee a time we can catch up with you. Sorry again Izzie, as a small studio we end up having a lot of days where we're running about and it can be hard to keep on top of things sometimes. Ironically it would be easier with a fourth person.

Let me keep you updated. And I hope you have a great weekend, hopefully we can get you in for a bit this Easter.

Best,
Abbas

Hi Abbas,

Ahh man that sucks so bad, only just seen this now lucky I've caught it. I totally understand, just hope we can reschedule for me to come in over Easter. Hey you never know I could become something more peremenant and help you guys keep on top of everything haha. Hope to hear from you soon, Izzie

Hi Izzie

Sorry again, I feel real bad about it! It’s been a pretty mental week so I’ll definitely try make it up to you and grab you a coffee soon. I’ll try get you in early next week, but I won’t guarantee a day this time till I know for sure! Would that be alright? I don’t want you hanging around Manchester waiting for us to confirm ha, so I hope it doesn’t bugger you up too much.  Would be ace to have you in.

Have a lovely Friday and I might be in touch over this weekend if that’s alright!

Best,
Abbas

No worries, il be around Manchester for most part of next week as it is so just keep me updated.

Thanks Izzie

Hey Abbas,

Planning on heading back to Leeds for a bit at some point as I've got some printing to get on with. I was wondering if you had any ideas on when you'd be wanting me in? Just so I can try plan where to be around it.

Thanks Izzie

My overall experiance with Alphabet was really just unfortunate - they are a studio that really stand out to me as somewhere id potentially fit in perfectly. It's annoying I couldn't be fitted in to intern over easter as that would of been perfect timing - but the promise of a placement in the future (summer) is still really exciting and brilliant for me.

~ Something more - day brief ~

Who - Stephen, John, Si - Something more

Where - Duke Studios

1 day brief - Design a new children's breakfast cereal - stops kids from eating junk food

Team - Amelia, Emily, Laura, Florence

Initial ideas  - Magic cereal - include spells, a wand? a gift or collectable item for each purchase to get people coming back for more - Makes you strong and smart

Within the task a spinner threw up real life issues for us to tackle as we went along.

- Cha ching - the client has found extra budget and want to make an 'on the go' version

- Legal - New recycling laws cardboard is banned!

- Idea - Which celebrity will be your ambassador?

- Mini brief - Leeds oyster card name and logo - half an hour!!!!

This mini brief was to create a simple design/concept for Leeds version of an oyster card in 30 mins. We wanted to keep in with the animal theme; but chose an owl as this is Leeds symbol/emblem and owls can be seen all over the city.

I chose to create a really simple and attractive logo style depicting the owl in a bold and memorable way. We chose Vag rounded for the typeface as this followed the clean and minimal aesthetic of the symbol logo and was positive and friendly to look at.

We chose this pink colour as its used on the current travel services throughout Leeds and we wanted the card to be a continuation of that.

- No computers for the next hour

- Needs a character

- Product placement in a TV show

The way we chose to go about this brief was to have an initial ideas generation session then assign each person with a specific job as we felt this was realistic of how a studio works.

We came up with the theme of magic - kind of like a harry potter themed cereal for kids in which they would feel like a witch or wizard when eating the cereal. Each box would come with a themed toy - wand, hat, spell book etc.

The cereal itself would be shaped by the theme - cats, hats, wands stars to make the food itself visually fun and also have edible glitter to make it extra magical.

Within our team we each elected a role within the final design in order to finish within the small amount of time.

I produced the background design - informed by the magical theme I used purple colours that are iconic of witches and wizards. I used simplicity and subtle detail so the information could sit comfortably on top without the background taking any attention from it.

Emily designed the logo - hand rendered to represent the old style theme within magic/design. And replacing the a with a star to represent further our theme and tone of voice.

I actually also produced some designs for our character - a black/dark cat as this is symbolic of witches, rather than having a witch we felt an animal was much more appropriate for the younger demographic. My design however wasn't chosen by the group as they felt it was too Japanese in style and needed a more adaptable design.

Laura produced a hand rendered design for the information section of the box design. Following the theme within the typeface and making something organic and personal.

Lastly Amelia created the design for the back of the box, including an interactive little games section to engage with the younger audience. I composed each element together within the design. Matching key colours of purple, black and gold that are iconic of our magical theme. The design works well and portrays the tone of voice needed for the concept and audience.

We presented our Stardust - magical way to start the day - as a mock up. Explaining the box would be plastic and would offer re-fills for an environmentally and pocket friendly approach to cereal design.

This was a really interesting task as working under such pressure to complete a design in a short amount of time was hard. I felt although this was an enjoyable day I didn't really fit into my team well. I have a really different design style and preference to a lot of them so the outcome to me wasn't in a style that I usually work in. But this is realistic of the real world as I wont always be working with people who have the same vision, making this a very valuable experiance.
